International three cities tournament

08-11-1931 > 08-05-1932

1 2 3 BP MP
1 Aachen GER 12 17½ 2
2 Maastricht NED 7 16½ 2
3 Liège BEL 3 8 11 2

By now, this tournament had become something of a tradition. This time, Liège didn’t do very well, despite winning the first match against Maastricht. The likely cause was that Soultanbeieff, Gerebtzoff, and Engelmann didn’t play in either match. [1] has the full results of both Liège matches, which were played in Visé and Eupen, respectively. According to [2], the match between Limburg and Aachen was played on November 8th, 1931.
