After the second world war, the Belgian chess federation starting organising two tournaments each year: the FBÉ/BSB championship was open for foreigners, like Van Seters and Soultanbeieff, and the Belgian championship was only for Belgians.
The games were played daily in Rue du Beau-Site, 28 in Brussels. I’m not sure why the forfeits happened. They don’t seem to be grouped at the end, as forfeits usually are. I found a few games in [1], one more in [3]. The full results are given in [2].
Wanted
- Almost all games.
- I’m not sure about the nationalities.
