Note that Van Steenis could not play on January 9th and 10th. His games against Cortlever and De Groot were played before the tournament. This was the first time that the Hoogoven tournament had an international group. O’Kelly scored the only Belgian victory ever in this tournament. He lost in the first round, but snatched the victory when Stoltz lost in the last round. [1] has pretty much complete information.
