The original idea was that there would be two teams from four countries. The teams consisted of four players each in a fixed order. These were to be paired in such a way that, over three round, each team met each other team twice on different boards — except for the other team form the same country. In this way, there would not only be a team classification but also a country classification. This lost a bit of its meaning since the second French team, CÉ Moyeuvre, was replaced by La Tour Limpertsberg for reasons unknown to me.

The first two rounds of the main tournament were played on Saturday, May 17th in the Orangery of the Staatsbad Mondorf. The first round of the minor tournament was played in the Casino. On Sunday, May 18th in the afternoon, the second round of the minor tournament and the third round of the main tournament were played in the Orangery. CRÉ Brussels won the exchange trophy offered by the mall Au Progrès. Thionville won the Coca Cola cup in the minor tournament.

[1] gives an announcement, the exact dates, full results for the main tournament, and the final standings for the minor tournament. The country classification comes from [2] and matches nicely with the results from [1]. The individual results of the Belgian teams were as below. Their round-by-round results can be found here. The few games I found come from [3].
