According to [3], Koltanowski replaced Keres, who had been invited but had to decline due to illness. He didn’t do too shabbily either, barely missing the podium. The young American Fine before another youngster: Flohr. Van Seters was Dutch but lived in Belgium almost his whole life. In the premier reserves, he finished in the middle of the pack. Pepers played in a first-class tournament with a surprisingly high number of women. He scored a convincing 8 out of 9, took shared first place with Mrs. Holloway, and was the only one to beat her.

Wanted

  • All but one of the games and some first names from the premier reserves and first class tournaments.
  • I’m not sure about all nationalities.
