3 NM Dyner, Boruch POL 0 0 1 1
4 Van Seters, Frits NED 0 0 0

After two matches, the INR now organised a small tournament to broadcast games from over the radio. The idea was that the larger number of games would allow for a more interesting selection. The games Dunkelblum–Shernetsky and Van Seters–Shernetsky were selected and broadcasted on December 18th and 28th, respectively, each time at ten past ten in the evening. Notes prepared by the players and Soultanbeieff were presented during the broadcast by Mr. Demey, president of the Belgian Chess Federation. The games were played in the rooms of the Cercle Philidor. The two players from Brussels, Dyner and Van Seters, were trounced by the Antwerp players, Dunkelblum and Shernetsky.

[1] gives full results and four of the games. [2] gives the full results as well, mentioning that Van Seters forfeited against Dunkelblum. It gives quite a different version of the game between Dunkelblum and Dyner, which I have given in the comments to that game.

Wanted

  • One game.
  • The exact dates of the games.
