The results and games form the main tournament all come from [4]. The same source mentions the Hyatt Regency Hotel as the venue and gives 40 moves in 2 hours and subsequently 20 moves per hour as the time control for the main tournament; presumably the B group used the same tempo. The crosstable for that section is slightly suspect: it is pieced together from a partial crosstable from [2] and the SB scores as given in [3]. The information of what games come from what round was kindly provided to me by Mr. Barrueco. [1] has the games from the first eight rounds, while [2] has one more game. Kasparov won the main group very convincingly. In the B group, Watson finished with a full point ahead of the field. The Belgians didn’t do very well, with the exception of Winants.

Wanted

  • Some games from the B group.
