I’m not sure whether there was any tie-break between the three winners. An open tournament was held alongside the final, but I’m not sure about the final standings there.

An announcement for the open tournament, organised by SK Deurne, appeared in [1]. The games were played in Sporthal Schijnpoort, Schijnpoortweg 55 in Antwerp. The tempo was 40 moves in 2 hours, followed by 20 moves in an hour, then 15′ KO. All games from the preliminaries and the final as well as many (all?) from the open section were kindly sent to me by Mr. Talon. I don’t know when the preliminaries were held exactly. According to [2], they were organised by Deurne, too, and started on May 11th.

Wanted

  •  When and where were the preliminaries held?
  • The final standings and crosstable for the open section.
