For the first time, zonal tournaments were organised for women. The Belgian participant, Bussers, didn’t do very well, although she didn’t very badly either. The crosstable and the picture below come from [1]. The game were kindly keyed in for me from [2], by a volunteer of the Max Euwe Center in Amsterdam. Sadly, in the last round game Velat–Bussers, both players kept score were badly and neither he nor I have been able to reconstruct the game beyond move 8.
