A big international tournament, with a clear Soviet dominance. O’Kelly finished in the middle, with a score of +1: enough for the 9th and last prize. The tournament bulletin [1], which I believe was edited by Magyar Sakkélet, has the games, including dates, as well as the crosstable.

This picture was kindly sent to me by Mr. László Jakobetz via Mr. Philip Jurgens.
Standing from left to right are: Ferenc Elek (arbiter), Gereben, Troainescu, Śliwa, Szily, Kottnauer, Barcza, Golombek, Platz, Benkő, and László Balogh (chief arbiter).
Sitting from left to right are: O’Kelly, Petrosian, Ståhlberg, Keres, Botvinnik, Smyslov, Szabó, Geller, and Pilnik.
