According to [1], the tournament was financed by the “Staatliche Verwaltung der oldenburgischen Ostseebäder” – whatever that may be –  and directed by Brinckmann. This seems weird, since he also played in it. Or are there two Brinckmanns?  Games were played from 16:00 to 20:00 and 21:00 to 23:00. In a relatively strong tournament Colle managed to remain unbeaten, drawing against both Tartakower and Nimzowitsch. The beautiful tournament picture below was kindly sent to me by Mr. Philip Jurgens, who took it from [3]. He also pointed out [4] to me, which has the exact dates for the rounds.
