I reconstructed the crosstable from partial results and the final standings as given in [1]. This tournament was organised by De Pion, a chess club from Deurne which is a suburb of Antwerp. This tournament, which took place in early 1949, was really the delayed 1948 championship, as [1] confirms. Bussers won her first title by defeating her main rival, Spoormans, in the final round. This game also earned her the brilliancy prize. De Proost retired after two rounds because her mother had fallen ill. Her results were annulled.
