The numbers of short draws was very high, which led the FBE to declare all games shorter than 7 moves 0-0 forfaited. This included one decided game (between Thibaut and Skaleric); it was exactly the victory Skaleric, Thibaut’s clubmate, needed to get promoted to the excellence category. The final standings after these operations was as follows:

1-2. Cornelis, Van Seters 7½ 3. Boey 7 4-5. Rooze, Limbos 6½ 6. Willaert 6 7. Schumacher 5½ 8-9. Skaleric, Tonoli 4 10-11. Tackels, Thibaut 3½ 12. Verstraeten 2½
