I took the crosstable from [1] and the games from [2], although [2] gives the game Eliskases-O’Kelly de Galway as 1-0, contrary to [1] and the position on the board. [3] gives a game from the honours group, where Belgian Heynen played.

This tournament took place in the Kennemer Theater in Beverwijk under the direction of Veldheer. According to [4], Ståhlberg was invited. When he fell ill and Dückstein was not available, O’Kelly was once more invited. Just like in 1957, he drew all his games.

A picture from the Anefo picture collection of the Nederlands Nationaal Archief, kindly brought to my attention by Mr. Philip Jurgens. On the back rank on the right, O’Kelly is facing Donner.
