This tournament was played over nine rounds instead of seven, because there were two more inscriptions to start with. However, Vandamme forfeited the first two rounds and was consequently taken out of the tournament and Calus had to withdraw before the first round due two illness.
Rounds one (08/01) and six (26/02) were held in Kortrijk, rounds two (15/01) and eight (12/03) in Ostend, rounds three and nine (29/01) in Bruges, round four (05/02) in Veurne, round five (19/02) in Bredene and round seven (04/03) in Tielt.
All information above comes from round-by-round coverage in [1]. I have a single game, which was published quite a bit after the tournament in [2]. Verstraeten and Vandezande were national top players and outclassed their competition.
