On the occasion of Koltanowski’s tour of Switzerland, a small tournament was organised in the café-restaurant Palace at Neumühlequai in Zürich. The presence of Grob meant that Koltanowski’s victory was not a given. He had a surprising defeat in the first round, but he managed to catch up with his main rival by defeating him in the final round. The results come from [1[, the one Koltanowski game I have from [2].
