This international tournament was organised by the Arnhemsche SV in the Oolgaardthuis. According to [2], the tournament was held from March 23rd to 26th. [1], however, claims there was an official opening speech by Zoetbrood, president of the organising club, on Saturday, which was the 25th. I suspect that this was the opening for the many minor quadrangular tournaments. Four-round quadrangular tournaments were often held in the Netherlands around this time, invariably with two rounds on Saturday and one on Sunday. Probably, the main tournament had started with one round on Thursday and one on Friday, to then fall into step with the subsidiary events.
