This small tournament was organised to give some local players from Antwerp the opportunity to play against stronger, foreign, opponents. Koltanowski, the one Belgian candidate for the victory drew too often, probably because he was also involved in the organisation. The games were played in De Boerinnekes, the brasserie of the Flemish Opera, from 19:00 to 23:00.
From [2], I didn’t manage to reconstruct the crosstable, but Mr. Philip Jurgens combined [2] with [1] and found the above crosstable. Mr. Jurgens also send me a game he found in [1]. The prize giving ceremony was held on June 19th, together with a simultaneous exhibition by Golombek, who scored +14, =1. The one drawn game was given in [3]. I included it for completeness’ sake.
