I’m not entirely sure what, if anything, was the occasion for this match. It apparently took place on four successive Sundays. The first three games were played in Liège in Café Continental, the final one in Huy in Café du Phare. Many thanks to Mr. Philip Jurgens, who unearthed the dates and results from [1] and [2]. Together with the final result given in [3], this allowed for the reconstruction of the table above.
