After the EXPO 58 tournament had finished, a new tournament was organised between the winners of the different groups in every class. It must be said, though, that, particularly in the lower classes, few winners actually took part in this victors’ tournament. Strangely, Mr. Galvez doesn’t appear to have played in the original EXPO 58 tournament. I’m not sure when these tournaments started or ended. In July 1960, it was announced they would be started and the results were published in the October issue of the Belgian correspondence chess federation’s bulletin. Based on that, I’ve put August 1st 1960 as the starting date and August 31st as the end date.
