After a first sort of encounter between players from Brussels and Antwerp, an actual match between the country’s two main clubs was organised. It was a two-legged match, the first being held in Brussels, the second in Antwerp. Both teams won on their home turf, but the visiting teams were missing some strong players in both cases. The results were published in the official bulletin of the Belgian Chess Federation four years after the facts.
