This tournament took place in the rooms of the Royal Antwerp Chess Club. The first rounds were played on September 30th, October 7th, October 14th, and October 21st. Probably, play continued at the rate of one round per week, which would put the end date at November 18th, but this is far from confirmed. After a nine round Swiss tournament, Meulders and Moeyersons tied for first place, but Meulders won the tie-breaking match, netting him his first title.
