This championship was held in four series: 1st class (5 players), 2nd class (14 players), 3rd class (17 players), and 4th class (20 players). The winners of the four series then met in a final single-round round robin; a method that seems to be designed to leave no excitement for the final, although 4th class player Brennig managed to surprise 3rd class player De Winter this time. This tournament took place at Korte Nieuwstraat 44 and started at 20:00. The tempo was 5 seconds per move. Many thanks to Mr. Philip Jurgens for pointing out [1] to me.
