It’s a pity that many of the Belgian top players – O’Kelly, Dunkelblum, Van Seters, Boey – did not get (or take) the opportunity to face off against Karaklajić. In their absence, the Yugoslavian’s first place was not a surprise but, unexpectedly, he was joined by Rose. Only in the play-off match did the international master beat his rival with 2-0. [1] gives the crosstable and two games. [2] and [3] have one more game each.
