The crosstable comes from complete round-by-round results given in [1], the games I have come from various sources ([1]-[5]). [1] gives quite some organisational details as well. The opening and the first round took place in the Van Dijck hall, subsequent rounds in hotel De Witte Leeuw. The tempo was 16 moves per hour with first control after 2:30. The prizes in first class were as follows:

  1. 1000 BEF + Pontiac wristwatch donated by Tensen
  2.  600 BEF
  3.  400 BEF
  4.  200 BEF

These amounts were halved for the second class (excepting the watch, which was still a whole watch, though possibly of lower value), were there was also no 4rd prize. A play-off match between Lemaire and O’Kelly was organised in 1947.
