This year, the FBE championship and Belgian championship were in one tournament again, with foreign members of the FBE being eligible for the championshuip of the federation but not for the Belgian championship. In this case, Van Seters  (who was a Dutchman) won the FBE title and Willaert won the national title. [1] gives all the games. [2] mentions that the games were played in Café de l’Horloge, Troonstraat 141 in Brussel. Many of the best players were missing, seeing that many had to reserve their days off to play in the olimpiad. One game was played per day except for either July 21 or 22.
