According to [3], Kmoch only planned on reporting on the tournament but still took part – presumably because there was one more player needed. Vécsey fell ill after five rounds. The picture below comes from [1]. I took the games from [2], but I strongly suspect that at least some of them are not complete. I have a hard time believing, for example, that Walter gave up in the final position given here.
