With Ljubojević, this tournament saw its first future superstar. He won very convincingly. Meulders’ results was perhaps the best ever by a Belgian in this tournament series. [1] has the crosstable, [2] has one game, and [3] has two more but that’s all I have. [3]  corroborated the crsstable and mentions that the tempo was, or at least started with, 40 moves in 2 hours.

Wanted

  • All but three games.
  • Kainrath’s first name.
