The Zilveren Toren (silver rook) competition is nowadays open to all clubs of the Antwerp Chess League, but in the beginning it was exclusively for teams from the city of Antwerp. The convention that the matches were played on the club evening of the host was apparently already in place. Each match was played on twelve boards: four boards for first class players, four for second class players, and four for third class players. However, it seems that some players played in different categories. Perhaps one was allowed to play in a higher category but not a lower one?

[1] gives full results, the only game I have and about half of the dates of the matches. Here are the round-by -round results. The individual results given below do not include forfeits. Note also that the board order was apparently not fixed.
